Our defensive driving course includes instructor led classroom training followed by a practical component that includes 1-on-1 defensive driver training in your vehicle/company vehicle. We believe that combining classroom instruction with practical hands on learning gives our students the best learning experience.
It is critical to point out that ANY TRAINING that does not include classroom and practical components may present serious liability concerns in the event of an incident. Our defensive driver training program meets and exceeds requirements and provides instruction in the following areas:
- Hazard Assessment
- Risk Management
- How to handle a skid
- Shifting and braking on steep grades
- Distracted driving
- Impaired driving: drugs and alcohol
- Backing up safety
