Defensive Driver Training
Our defensive driving course includes instructor led classroom instruction followed by practical hands-on training in the city and offroad (optional) that includes 1-on-1 defensive driver training in your vehicle/company vehicle.
We believe that combining classroom instruction with practical hands on learning gives our students the best learning experience.
It is critical to point out that ANY TRAINING that does not include classroom and practical components may present serious liability concerns in the event of an incident. Our defensive driver training program meets and exceeds requirements and provides instruction in the following areas:
- Pre-trip/post-trip
- Hazard Assessment
- Risk Management
- How to handle a skid
- Shifting and braking on steep grades
- Distracted driving
- Impaired driving: drugs and alcohol
- Backing up safety
- Vehicle Safety

Regulatory Compliance
Alberta and BC OH&S regulations require all workers operating corporate/company vehicles to take defensive driver training.
In order for a certificate to be issued the following course requirements must be met:
A minimum of 4 hrs classroom training in BC and 3 hrs in Alberta
There must be a practical component
Written exam
Offroad Driver Training
Our offroad driving fundamentals course includes classroom training led by an instructor followed by a practical component that includes one-on-one offroad driver training in the vehicle. We believe that combining classroom instruction with practical hands on learning gives our students the best learning experience.

- 4×4 Fundamentals
- Climbing and descending hills
- Crossing water
- How not to get stuck
- Avoiding roll-overs
- Loose gravel and washboard
- Crossing obstacles
- Private and radio controlled roads
Regulatory Compliance

Under OH&S regulations in order for a certificate to be issued the following course requirements must be met:
